Despite its high standard of living, Spain is considered one of the the cheapest countries in Western Europe, and its cost of living is lower than in 52% countries in the world.

Is it expensive to live in Spain? Life here is generally quite inexpensive.

Education

Public kindergartens and schools in Spain free. Parents only pay for meals, and you can get compensation or benefits. Education in public schools is conducted in Spanish.

  • Semi-private (Catholic) schools: have mixed financing. The cost is from 80 to 400€ per month per child, and this amount already includes meals, clubs, and school uniforms. These schools are also called colegio concertado.
